Mac Miller is cutting ties with his record label Rostrum Records.
In a statement to MTV News, the rapper says "Rostrum is my family. That is forever." Mac also says that together he and Rostrum "moved mountains" and that he knows they will continue that tradition. He adds that he is "grateful" for everything he learned while he called the label home.
Rostrum Records Founder and President Benjy Grinberg called Mac "an incredible artist" with a "bright" future. He also says Rostrum wishes him "nothing but the best in the future."
Mac Miller joined Rostrum in 2010 and has released his two album under the label. Last year, the emcee released his sophomore album Watching Movies With The Sound Off.
