Brawl breaks out at vigil for woman, 21, fatally shot fleeing group of men

A brawl broke out at a vigil for a woman who was fatally shot after being chased down on the city's South Side. Oceana Jones, 21, was fatally shot Tuesday in the Gresham neighborhood just after 1 a.m. Chicago police said Oceanea Jones and her boyfriend were at a gas station in the 1500 block of West 79th Street, when they noticed a group of four to five men following them. According to WGN-TV They felt uneasy and the couple decided to run. At one point, Jones' boyfriend said she let go of his hand and he believed she was hiding. Video from a corner convenient store on 79th and Justine streets shows Jones and her boyfriend walking home from the gas station. They begin to run away and four offenders are seen pursuing them.
