Stop Procrastinating Because Tomorrow Is Not Promised

I recently had a conversation with a friend who said she was going to wait until 2020 to start working on opening her business. I asked why did she have to wait, why couldn't she prepare right now? She replied, "Because 2020 is going to be a good year, I can feel it so that's what I'm waiting for."

I then proceeded to remind her that working on a goal really shouldn't have a concrete start date. You can begin taking small steps now on achieving that goal, then medium steps, then the big steps. She agreed and said she would start making phone calls immediately and laying out a plan for her next course of action. And hours later, she received a phone call for a meeting with some very important and influential people. See?

Don't procrastinate. When you have a goal in mind or you want to achieve something, get on it right away because you don't know what God has for you. Have a plan, and put that plan into action without delay. There is no real reason why you should "wait until 2020," or wait until you reach a certain age, or wait until you get more money, or wait until ... well, you get the picture. Do it now. Start right this minute and by the time the new year rolls around, you will be in full gear for the next phase.

Tomorrow is not promised, do it now.
