Yay! We can finally get out of the house and do some things. The key word here is "some." On Saturday Illinois slides into the third phase of a 5-phase plan to reopen the state.
Beginning Saturday Illinoians (outside of Chicago) can go to the hair and nail salon, eat outdoors at some restaurants and head back to the shopping centers. Aaaaaahh, the sweet smell of spring is in the air and we can breathe a little easier now.
But don't get it twisted. This is not a time to party because we are still in the midst of a pandemic. We still have to take precautions to prevent the spread of coronavirus so let's ease into this with common sense and follow protocol.
Chicagoans, we'll have the chance to do this beginning Wednesday, June 3rd.
