Notable Deaths: Chicago's Erica Watson, Vernon Jordan and Bunny Wailer

Chicago native and actress/comedian Erica Watson died over the weekend reportedly due to complications from COVID-19. She was a regular contributor on ABC 7s Windy City Live and has appeared on "The Chi" and countless other shows. Ms. Watson, affectionately known as "Miss Poundcakes" was also an occasional guest on WGCI radio's morning show with Leon Rogers, Kendra G and Kyle.

Civil Rights leader and activist Vernon Jordan has died. Mr. Jordan was a close advisor to former president Bill Clinton. He also worked closely with Republican presidents Ronald Reagan and both the George Bush's. He was 85.

Another notable death is Reggae icon and founding member of the Wailers, Bunny Wailer. For years he played with the legendary Bob Marley. Although there is no cause of death, Mr. Wailer had been hospitalized for several months following a stroke. He was 73.
