The Demand For Vaccinations Is Declining In Illinois

What is up with the decline in vaccinations in the state of Illinois? I wonder why residents are slowing up on getting vaccinated. I would think the number of people interested in getting the shot would rise as we enter the reopening phase next month.

According to officials, the state of Illinois has received more than 12 million doses of the three approved vaccines and just more than 10 million have been distributed.

COVID-19 is a real thing, and people are still becoming ill and in some cases dying from the virus. It concerns me that vaccinations are on the decrease and there have been reports that many residents have not returned for their second shot. Why?
