A meat distribution company in California is recalling nearly 8.7 million pounds of beef parts, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The products being recalled were manufactured between January 1, 2013 and January 7, 2014 and were shipped to grocery stores and distribution centers in California, Florida, Illinois and Texas.

According to reports, the meat being recalled came from sick or unhealthy cattle.
