CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Taste of Chicago will be closed Saturday due to weather, officials said. The closure, which comes after morning storms hit the Chicago area, is due to "excessive rainfall and flooding on the festival grounds," Chicago Office of Emergency Management officials said in a statement. Tickets to Saturday Taste concerts and Chef du Jour purchased online will be refunded automatically, officials said, and conditions will be monitored to update the public if the closure will be extended into Sunday, the festival's last day.
