For those of you who like to swim and hang out at the beach there is good news and not so good news. The good news is that Chicago beaches open for the summer season today and that's right on time because it is supposed to be close to 90 degrees this holiday weekend. More good news is that the water has been tested and it is clean enough to take a swim. Okay now for the not so good news ... the water is just too cold to take a dip in the lake.
