Construction is expected to begin in the spring of 2019 for the redevelopment of Chicago's Union Station. More than 37 million passengers pass through the historic building each year, and with the makeover they will be able to enjoy many more amenities.
The first phase of the redevelopment will include the addition of a 7-story glass and steel addition that will be added to the top of the building. Plus, there will be 400 apartments and a hotel and plenty of places to eat or grab a snack.
