Today we celebrate our nation’s 242nd birthday… and with all the challenges facing “We the People” who still want to make this a more perfect union, I think this is the perfect time to say thank you, remember why we celebrate this day and recommit to our nation’s ideals.
Thank YOU… to our veterans and those in our armed forces for your service in defense of our country and her people.
Thank YOU… to those elected officials who make sure their constituents’ voices are heard, protected and represented at all levels.
Thank YOU… to every citizen who participates in making this a more perfect union, with liberty and justice for all.
May that be true for us all… for real this time.
