Former First Lady Michelle Obama is coming back home. She will be kicking off her book tour right here in her hometown of Chicago. Mrs. Obama will be promoting her memoir "Becoming" and the tour starts at the United Center on Nov. 13. Wow, the United Center? That's a pretty big venue, but hey she is Michelle Obama, sorta like the rock star of First Ladies.
But of course Chicago is not her only stop, she will be hitting other cities including New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Detroit, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Dallas, Denver and San Francisco.
Mrs. Obama said in a Facebook post that she hopes others will feel the power of their own voice and their own story because of her book. And you know the affect Mrs. Obama has had on our society, from her stylish fashion sense to her concern about world issues, so you can probably expect this to be a sell out.
