The Chicago police officer killed in the line of duty during a shooting at Mercy Hospital will be honored at a wake and funeral this Sunday and Monday, according to police. A wake will be held for Officer Samuel Jimenez November 25 at Oehler Funeral Home, and a funeral mass will be held the following day at the Chapel of St. Joseph at Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Des Plaines. Jimenez will be buried with full honors during a private ceremony at Ridgewood Memorial Park.
