Better late than never! Whew, I was hoping Janet Jackson would make it into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and she will be an inductee for 2019. Good stuff!
Janet joins her famous brothers who were inducted in 1997. Janet Jackson definitely deserves the honors, it was just a matter of time before she made the list. I'm really happy she did, but sad that her father Joe Jackson will not be able to see this major accomplishment. I'm sure Jan will acknowledge her dad who had a considerable amount of influence on her and her sibling's careers.
Other artists joining Janet in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2019 include the Cure, Def Leppard, Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, Roxy Music and the Zombies. The 2019 induction ceremony is March 29 in New York.
