Gazillionaire J.B. Pritzker becomes the 43rd governor of Illinois today. He, along with Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton will be sworn into office at a convention center in Springfield. The billionaire politician spent a lot of money during his campaign and it seems as though it really paid off for him because he won the gubernatorial race by a good margin, beating out Bruce Rauner.
Not only is Gov. Pritzker the wealthiest governor in Illinois history, but he is also reportedly the wealthies governor in America! Wow, that's really a lot of money. J.B. is a member of the Pritzker family, one of the wealthiest families in America and is an heir to the Hyatt Hotel fortune.
It's always interesting to see how the new administration will step in and change the way things are operated in Illinois government, hopefully with the new crew we will all see positive change.
