Let's not forget the true meaning of Memorial Day.
Sure, it is a 3-day weekend, the unofficial start to summer, a time to go to barbecues and the beach, and a chance to get away for a mini vacation, but the real meaning of Memorial Day should never be forgotten. Memorial Day is the day that we should take time to remember those who gave their lives while serving the United States Armed Forces. That is the ultimate sacrifice and should be honored.
