Girl, 11, critically hurt after being shot inside home 1 day before b-day

A girl planning to celebrate her 12th birthday was shot in the head Monday night inside a home in south suburban Harvey. The shooting occurred at about 9 p.m. near 158th Street and Paulina Avenue, Harvey police said.
