Full disclosure here! I have not been checking for the Chicago Bulls like that for the past couple of years. I don't know, I just felt a little disconnect from the team while they were going through so many transitions. But don't get it twisted, I am definitely a Bulls fan. As a matter of fact, I am an "any Chicago sports team fan."
I'll be honest though, the NBA pre-season kind of crept up on me and I wasn't prepared. I've been catching highlights of the games on the news, but I haven't really watched more than three minutes of any of the pre-season. I'm still getting to know some of the cats on the team and that may take a while, but I will say I was so happy to see that the Bulls beat the reigning NBA Champs, the Toronto Raptors.
Now the game wasn't a blow out or anything, but we all know a win is a win, right? Hopefully Sunday's victory will give the boys the confidence that they can beat the best of the best. Next up, the Hawks this Thursday at the United Center. Go Bulls.
