This is amazing! As a proud black woman I am so happy to see that all major pageant winners are women of color -- black women! Miss Teen USA, Miss USA, Miss America, Miss World and Miss Universe are all black. Usually I am not a fan of the "first black person to do this," "first black person to do that," because I feel as we approach the year 2020 it should be expected that black people can do anything that any other race can do.
But this right here? This is worth mentioning because all of these beauty queens are black and they rep for black women everywhere, not only in America but across the globe. This is indeed historic and should be recognized and should also be a clear reminder that anything is possible.
