Happy birthday to the best city in the entire world, Chicago! The city was founded in 1837, and although he passed away in 1818, Jean Baptiste Point du Sable is considered to be the founder of this city after being the first permanent non-Indigenous settler of what later became Chicago.
I love this city, from its diverse neighborhoods and great restaurants to the amazing shopping and of course that remarkable skyline, nothing compares to beautiful Chicago. Not to mention the beautiful people who make up this city, who are strong, resilient and loyal.
One hundred and eighty-three years of development, advancement and improvement proves that Chicago is indeed a world-class city.
