African Americans in Chicago continue to be disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and city officials are trying to do something about it. The city’s new Racial Equity Rapid Response Team (RERRT) will target three communities that have been hit hardest by the coronavirus: Austin, Auburn Gresham and South Shore.
