With the pandemic lurking around the globe, we really should pay attention to earth day. It is more than just a day where we clean trash off the streets, conserve energy by turning off lights or recycle, we should really take care and give more attention to our beautiful planet.
Earth Day is celebrated by nearly 200 countries around the world, a day where we recognize and demonstrate support for environmental protection. Because of the pandemic, most of the events to celebrate Earth Day will likely be virtual.
The pandemic is affecting hundreds of thousands of human lives each day and imagine the negative actions we, as humans, have on the planet when we litter our lakes and oceans, hunt animals, leave our cell phones and computer chargers plugged in all day and so much more.
Respect mother earth, she needs us and we certainly need her.
