Chicago Bulls Hire First Black GM In Team History

The timing just can't get any better.

Right in the midst of millions of viewers being glued to their TVs watching ESPN's 'The Last Dance,' a documentary about the rise of the Chicago Bulls in the 90s, the team has hired a new general manager.

Former Philadelphia 76ers Assistant GM Marc Eversley is the first black man to become general manager in the team's history. The move is not only a good look, but it's also another step in the Bulls overhauling their front office in an effort to build the team and get them back in championship-winning form.

Eversley replaces Gar Forman who was with the team since 1998 before being appointed to GM in 2009. The Bulls have also hired Arturas Karnisovas as new vice president of operations. Stay tuned, more changes are likely to come.
