Chicago Helps Domestic Violence Survivors Get to a Safe Place

Salute to the City of Chicago for entering into a partnership with AirBNB to help survivors of domestic violence.

Mayor Lightfoot announced earlier this week that the company will help to facilitate places to stay for those fleeing violence in their homes. When survivors call the Illinois Domestic Violence Hotline, they’ll make them a hotel reservation free of charge to them… with funding provided by the state.

If you or someone you know needs help, the number is 877-863-6338 and I’ll have it on my blog at v103 dot com.

Stay home, save lives and stay safe in every way.
