Friday night, Chicago Police clashed with the protesters after the Christopher Columbus statue was vandalized followig a Black Matters protest.
Many of the protesters got peppered sprayed at the altercation. According to a video posted on twitter, protesters surrounding the statue were shouting "Columbus was a murderer" at one point.
