Take Action! Walk Virtually with Shaq or In-Person with Chance for Change!

It’s time to take action this weekend and address areas where we want to see change and progress…

Today, Chance the Rapper’s organization SocialWorks has teamed up with Save Money Save Life for a Peace Walk for “The Year of the Youth.” The walk steps off this morning at 11am from Overton Elementary at 221 E. 49th. After the walk makes its way through the neighborhood, there will be a Community Give Back Celebration at 3pm, where they’re accepting donations of school supplies, PPE, personal care items, food and more. Chance will be joined by other Chicago hip hop stars like Vic Mensa, G Herbo and more!

Also today, support the UNCF’s Virtual Walk for Education starting at 1pm, featuring Shaq, Lynn Whitfield, Anthony Hamilton, Questlove and more! The event streams live on their website… log in and support our HBCU students and our future anyway you can!

& Next weekend, it’s the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s Joliet. It’s Saturday, September 26th and you can register, download the app and walk wherever you are to stay safe and still support those affected with care and research. I've put together my team for the Chicago Walk to End Alzheimer’s on October 10th... join in wherever you can!

Let's make a difference!
