I was very surprised when I saw Doja Cat's performance at the Billboard Music Awards. I have seen her perform before on other shows, but her performance at the 'Billboards' was amazing. You can clearly see that she was trained in jazz, ballet and tap because her dancing skills really were on display Wednesday night.
This performance may rank up with one of the best I have seen in a very long time. I love the versatility that she shows during her performance, taking her songs and putting a more classy spin on them. I would describe Doja's set last night as a "Chicago The Musical" type vibe, and she gave me that Marilyn Monroe glam.
Now I'll look at Doja Cat's artistry a little differently. Although I've been rocking to her music for a while now, I've been sleeping on her other natural talents. She's proven to be a well-rounded, solid artist.
