Judge Rules Jury Will Be Anonymous In R. Kelly Case

R. Kelly is facing some serious jail time if he is convicted of federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges in New York. A judge has ruled that Kelly's upcoming case in New York City will be heard by an anonymous jury who will also be partially sequestered.

It has been reported that the Grammy award-winning artist has a history of obstructing the judicial process. Kelly is currently being held without bail at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago where he faces more federal and state charges. His trial was set to begin in Brooklyn in September, but it was delayed because of the pandemic. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
