It seems like it wasn't that long ago that we watched LeBron James and the Lakers hoist that championship trophy in the air in celebration of a victory. Looks like the champs may be back on the court in the next six weeks.
The NBA's Player's Association is currently in the process of voting on a couple of options: one being starting the season next month for a longer schedule, or starting in January with a shorter schedule. If the season starts on Dec. 22nd, the players will play 72 games. Otherwise, the other option is starting in mid January and playing 58 or 60 games.
By the way, the Chicago Bulls haven't played since March so I would expect them to be eager to get back on the hardwood and get some "dubs" leading up to a victory. New coach, new assistant coach -- oh yeah, it's time for a championship guys!
