Longtime NBC newscaster and meteorologist Jim Tilmon has died at the age of 86.
Tilmon, was well known by Chicagoans for his time at NBC 5. He also served as one of the first black pilots to fly for American Airlines. After retiring from his career as a broadcaster, Tilmon moved to Arizona where he lived with his wife Joan.
