Before you grab an Apple iPhone 12, here's a heads up. Apple issued a new warning about the phone after realizing that it may interfere with medical devices such as implanted pacemakers and defibrillators.
Apple suggests keeping the phone at least six inches away from those medical devices just to be on the safe side. The phones are equipped with magnets and radios that release electromagnetic fields and that could cause the interference. As much as we use our phones each day, and have them in our bed with us, tucked in a pocket and always up to our ears, that may be a stretch.
But there are geniuses at Apple and hopefully they will come up with a solution where people who have such medical devices don't have to worry about their phone being too close.
