Janet Jackson fans listen up!
Ms. Jackson is doing something really big -- she is going to auction off hundreds of her personal items, many of them coming from her Rhythm Nation days. Remember that key earring she wore in the video? Yup, that's one of the items being auctioned.
Also, the black jacket she wore, the 1814 hat and so much more will be at the auction. The celebrity auction will take place the weekend of May 14-16 in Los Angeles. Some of the items will also be on display later this month in the windows of the Hard Rock Cafe' in London.
Wow, I wish I could get there to at least witness the auction because I'm pretty sure these treasures will definitely be too high for me to bid on. But the best part is that proceeds will benefit Compassion International, a humanitarian aid organization that aims to positively impact long-term development of children living in poverty globally.
