After 19 seasons, Ellen Degeneres is saying bye bye to her TV show. Now I'm pretty sure this won't be the last time we see or hear from Ellen, but I think it's time, especially because of various allegations surrounding the show.
If you recall last year amidst the civil unrest in this country, allegations of sexual misconduct, intimidation and racism surfaced and I tell you the "Ellen" show in my opinion has not been the same. I don't know if Ellen was actually involved in, or knew about any of these allegations, but when your name is the biggest name on a production, I feel like you are likely to know something. At the height of the allegations several employees quit, speaking out on the toxic work environment at the show.
The "Ellen" show will wrap it up in 2022. The show aired on NBC in Chicago, the same network that will not be airing the Golden Globe Awards next year because of the same type of allegations.
