Mayor Lori Lightfoot and the Chicago Department of Housing announced $79.8 million in housing rental assistance. The Emergency Rental Assistance Program will provide up to 15 months of rental assistance for renters and landlords impacted by COVID-19 shutdowns, according to the office of Mayor Lightfoot.
