Just when we were given the all clear to go to the beach in Chicago, the weather got all messed up and now there won't be any swimming allowed.
City officials today announced that the beaches will be closed for swimming because of high winds. And with all the rain, cold and windy weather today I can't really see too many people wanting to take a swim or even go to a beach today anyway. But at least we know they're back open in time for the holiday weekend.
