Coronavirus Symptoms Can Be Mistaken For A Cold, Allergies

Even though the state of Illinois will be entering Phase 5 this week, keep in mind the pandemic still exists and we should be aware of our health, even if we have been vaccinated.

Health officials say that it may be difficult to differentiate between the common cold and seasonal allergies because those conditions have some of the same symptoms as coronavirus. In many cases they all overlap with shortness of breath, sneezing, coughing, fatigue, headache and a sore throat and congestion.

But coronavirus is usually associated with fever, loss of taste and smell, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. But you shouldn't ignore any of these symptoms and always make sure you pay attention to your health.
