It's sad that I'm on social media actually seeing comments that Simone Biles 'is weak' and that 'she should be able to handle competition.' Wow, people can be really cruel and heartless.
Nobody knows the exact reason why Simone pulled out of the U.S. gymnastics finals at the Olympics, but if it is due to mental illness reasons, that should never be taken lightly. According to a statement by USA Gymnastics, Simone withdrew from the competition due to a medical issue.
And no matter what the reason, let's respect it.
