It’s time to vote!
Chicago’s municipal election is Tuesday and early voting is still open this weekend. You can find information about the election and registering here.
You will be casting your vote for one of the 9 candidates running for mayor plus alderpersons in the 50 wards across the city.
There's also a new office to vote for... we get to vote to fill seats on the new police district councils. The councils are designed to provide citizen oversight for the Chicago Police Department. Find more information about the police districts and how it will work here.
And runoff elections are expected to happen in the mayoral election and many wards, so make sure your voice is heard now!
