It is the last weekend of November and the holiday season is in full swing with shows, shopping and family fun… let’s get into it:
Tonight, the Whispers and the Dramatics take over The Venue at Horseshoe Casino at 8 pm…
Chicago Vintage Fest is today and tomorrow from noon to 6 pm at Morgan Maunufacturing (401 N Morgan, Chicago) with 100 vintage and handmade vendors plus cocktails and food. The event’s mission is to promote sustainable living and small businesses.
Next week on Tuesday November 28th singer & actor Christian Keyes will be at the City Winery Chicago at 8 pm (low ticket alert!)
If you’re looking for lights and holiday fests… here are a few to get you in the mood:
Light Up the Lake is back at Navy Pier runs through December 31st. It’s the largest indoor/outdoor holiday experience in Chicago with lights, ice skating, axe throwing, live musical performances, an artisan market and cozy fire pits for making s'mores plus rides on Navy Pier's 200-foot Centennial Wheel (& all gondolas are fully enclosed and heated!)
Winterland at Gallagher Way at Wrigley Field is open through January 7th! Enjoy the holiday experience that offers attractions at the ballpark, including the 12,000-square-foot Gallagher Ice Rink, on-field games, carnival rides, a miniature train, or ride around on the rink’s ice bumper cars. You can also get drinks at The Lodge, the bar inside the park complete with cozy firepits.
Catch ZooLights at Lincoln Park Zoo through January 7th. Free admission tickets on Mondays, plus special events like Adults Night Out and a musical tribute to “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”
