Duvall, the movie star whose wide-eyed, winsome presence was a mainstay in many films, passed away in her sleep at her Blanco, Texas, home Thursday due to “complications from diabetes. Duvall starred alongside Jack Nicholson in Stanley Kubrick’s 1980 thriller “The Shining.”
