As egg prices continue to rise, you can find some really affordable ones today—as in free-99!
Pastor Charlie Dates, senior pastor of Progressive Baptist Church and Salem Baptist Church will distribute 40,000 eggs on the South Side today from noon to 2pm.
Families are urged to arrive early since the demand is expected to be high. There are several locations where you can get your free carton of eggs:
- Volunteers from Progressive will be at:
- 47th & the Dan Ryan
- 55th & the Dan Ryan
- 35th & King Drive
- Volunteers from Salem will be at:
- 87th & the Dan Ryan
- 108th & Michigan
Pastor Dates and volunteers from his congregation want to provide immediate relief for people in need as they uphold the Black church’s legacy of community support.
Remember, our community moves forward in the best way possible when we all get the help we need and give the help we can!
