Catch the Brookins Music Series today from 2-4pm… a free community event for the whole family from 2-4 pm featuring live jazz and line dancing… bring your lawn chair and enjoy a great afternoon! It’s at Audrey’s Garden at Brookins Funeral Home, 93rd1 and Ashland (9315 S. Ashland Avenue). See flyer below.
And next week, the House Music Museum and Hall of Fame Foundation have joined with support partners Teamwork Englewood and Kidz Korna to host their On The Curb Giveaway next week at the Kidz Korna Lot at 65th and Parnell (6530 S. Parnell). Starting at 9am on Thursday (July 31st), drop off any unwanted items around your house that are in good condition but you’re no longer using and want to donate. Then from 1-4pm, they’re welcoming people in need to come by and choose from the donations. These items will also help fund their new public safety project in Englewood.
