Today is the Austin Community Fall Festival at Assumption Church, 5545 W. Harrison from noon-4pm. Free fun for the whole family with a rock-climbing wall, carve with a cop brought to you by 15th District CAPS, pumpkin patch, face-painting, music, games, food and more! And register online now (at this link) for The Alzheimer’s Association Illinois Chapter’s annual free research symposium in honor of National Family Caregivers Month in November—a time to celebrate the contributions of caregivers, increase awareness, and connect them with information and resources. It’s happening on Friday November 7th from 9:30am-2:30pm at the Feinberg Pavilion Conference Center of Northwestern Memorial Hospital (251 E. Huron, 3rd Floor). Complimentary breakfast & lunch will also be served. (also see flyer below for more info)
