Canadian Man Fools Police With DeLorean Made Of Snow

A Montreal man wanted to play a joke on the snow removal crews following a snow storm earlier in the week. Simon Laprise's plan was to build a life-size sculpture of a DeLorean DMC-12, the car made famous in Back to the Future, out of snow on the street in front of his home, reports WSMV. To make the fake car truly believable, he used a real windshield wiper he found across the street. The car did not fool snow removal crews, but did stump a police officer who was called to investigate.

Laprise saw the officer investigating the car, which was in a snow removal zone, and snapped a few photos and uploaded them to Facebook. The three photos show a police car pulling up in front of the car, a confused officer about to write a ticket, and a picture of the "ticket" left by police. The police left a note in French, which translates to "You made our night hahahahaha :)"

The car sculpture was destroyed by snow plows the following morning.
