One of the highlights of Chadwick Boseman's commencement address was his experience with a role he accepted early in his career in which he played a young man from a broken home and was later lured into a gang. He said he was conflicted about the role in an unnamed soap opera and expressed his concern and was eventually fired for doing so. But apparently that was truly a blessing in disguise because look at him now, one of the hottest actors in Hollywood. Things happen for a reason.
