Tennis star Naomi Osaka received a couple of ESPY awards over the weekend and now she gets her own Barbie Doll too. I love this doll because it is a reminder to little girls and young ladies that there is someone who looks like them, and they, too, can be successful at playing tennis.
Osaka bravely took time away from the tennis court earlier this year to focus on her mental health. She felt that life's pressure, media questions and other situations were a bit much, and that she needed to concentrate on herself to make sure she is okay.
