Officials: Chicago Will Not Close Down Amid Uptick In COVID Cases

Mayor Lightfoot and city health experts want Chicagoans to know that although there is a rise in coronavirus cases, officials don't plan on closing down the city.

BUT public health officials are saying that they want residents to get vaccinated in order to help curb the variants of the virus. When you couple that with an indoor mask advisory for those who are vaccinated and not vaccinated, that would definitely bring the numbers down.

Please do what you need to do to help prevent the spread of any of these viruses so this pandemic can go away.
