Criminal Justice Reform Bill To Be Named After Michael K. Williams

A new New York criminal justice reform bill is going to be named after the late actor Michael K. Williams. The bill will reduce mass incarceration, something that Williams was an advocate for before his death. The actor used his platform to bring awareness to prison reform.

In addition he served as the American Civil Liberties Union's ambassador for ending mass incarceration. Williams died earlier this week from an apparent drug overdose according to reports. Rest in peace.
