Former Secretary Of State Colin Powell Dies At 84

Former Secretary of State Colin Powell has died, reportedly from complications of COVID-19. He was the former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the highest ranking military appointment in the Defense Department.

He was also the first black person to become National Security Advisor as well as the other titles mentioned. It is reported that Mr. Powell was fully vaccinated. He died this morning at Walter Reed Medical Center at the age of 84.
