Once a year the love factor turns up a few notches, and that is on Valentine's Day. But just know that the love you feel for that special person in your life should have that same energy EVERY day. It's okay fellas (and ladies too!) to go out of your way for your loved ones. Buy them roses on a random Tuesday. Take them to movies on a random weekday. Plan a weekend getaway just because.
It feels really good to be loved and know that someone really has your back, and it feels even better when that person expresses how they feel for you not only with words but with actions. We should be grateful that there is somebody beside us who can protect us, provide for us, someone we can confide in, kick it with and just grow old with.
As one of the biggest retail sales holidays, with about $27 billion in sales (US Economy and News), Valentine's Day has become a really big deal. But don't lose sight on the real meaning of love and the importance of showing it on the daily, not just today.
